Message From The Head of School

Welcome and thank you for visiting RISE website.  It is our hope in presenting our website that you will have a chance to see just what a remarkable school community this is and to learn more about all that this community of learners—especially our students—are achieving together.

My name is Dorett Watt and I am the Principal of RISE, Royal Institute of Smart Education. I have held senior positions in international schools in the Middle East, Azerbaijan and UK for 18 years. I am incredibly proud to be this schools’ Principal having being appointed to the position by the Board of Directors for REL in June 2017.

At RISE our education is focused on the individual student. It is about developing the whole child to achieve their very best; unlocking potential and opening minds. To underpin this ethos our education is based on the UK National Curriculum; whereby the characteristics of a British education system provides academic rigour as well as supporting a child’s personal development and offering a rich programme of extra-curricular activities.  All our students are nurtured to gain the highest grades in British qualifications which are recognized internationally and are a passport to a place at a good university.

RISE is a non-selective, friendly and caring school with high expectations of all pupils and staff who are the school’s greatest asset. Our pupils enjoy the curriculum and the extra-curricular activities programme. Our school fees are very competitive considering the class size and opportunities we offer. We support the values and beliefs of Islam through delivery of Arabic and Islamic Studies from Grade 1 to 12. Within the daily life of the school we strive to support the less able and challenge the most able pupil. We want every pupil to reach his or her full potential.

Please come and see our school for yourself and let us discuss what the school has to offer your family.
